Anubis, God of the Dead

Osiris's bastard child, who Osiris adopted and raised as his own. When his kinda-uncle Set murdered Osiris, Anubis embalmed his father and made it so his body would not rot away, allowing Osiris to take over the underworld and Anubis to obtain the title of God of the Dead.

5000 or so years since then, and Anubis has become a very different person. Once a harsh judge, Anubis has become Osiris's caretaker as the least rotted of the gods that have survived that period. Osiris treats him well, albeit constantly berating him whenever he does something stupid, which has become woefully often. He also seriously hates people who have died and returned to life, as, in his opinion, they "come back to fulfill a purpose, and don't end themselves once they have done so, sticking around and screwing with the mortal world FOR ABSOLUTELY NO FUCKING REASON!"
